This is the place where I write down my thoughts about life, work, the world, and whatever may exceed the scope of the aforementioned. It’s meant to be serious but not too serious - for I am just a man and this is just a website. Welcome to the world as I see it.

Who am I?
My name is Logan. My only notable accomplishment is hanging out with Darth Vader
Aside from that, I was a panelist at PAX West as a teen in 2016 and 2018. Got my degree in AI before LLMs were cool at Oregon State University. I worked at Imgur through college, Tesla just after, and ConductorOne from January 2021 to now. I don’t think I need to write a post about why I left Tesla after 6 months of working there in the Fall of 2020 when Covid was still raging strong - you can probably guess the sources of my displeasure. But let me also say that the opportunities to build cool things at C1 has been limitless. So, this is not just the “next” place, but barring unforseen circumstances it will stay the place I continue to grow my confidence and talent.
This ship has landed somewhere in Portland, Oregon, an absolutely beautiful town covered in lush greenery and the winter sorrows of Californian transplants like myself reminding ourselves that the summers are full of unparalleled beauty. I cannot stress enough just how amazing this town is in the summer, and as I get older the idea of hibernating in the winter gets more and more appealing. Some might call that a win-win. Occasionally I’ll write about the food I eat here; there are so many options it can feel daunting and my backlog of great restaurants grows weekly - so we’ll see if I ever get around to that.
Somewhere during my youth and college experience I became a highly competitive Rocket League player, peaking around the top 0.02% in FTP Season 9 while I was Oregon State University’s Rocket League coach. This has little to no bearing on my day-to-day life, but it’s something I enjoyed accomplishing, and if you want some coaching you can send me a message on LinkedIn.
